P-12 Tommy Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 In case somebody's interested.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1948-CHRYSLER-CLOCK-NOS-RARE-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3cad45d230QQitemZ260605071920QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Tom Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 I think most all 1946-8 chryslers had clocks installed with the tags still on them. My cars do. I also saw this clock and I kinda think it's used. He says the Knob pulls off and his feedback is iffy! If anyone is wanting it better ask him some type of condition questions! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 And.......NO, it won't fit a Plymouth. Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted June 4, 2010 Author Report Posted June 4, 2010 I didn't think a Chrysler clock would fit a Plymouth:D Tom Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Tom, that comment wasn't specifically for you........... Usually, someone asks if a clock for any other brand (which looks a bit similar) will fit a Plymouth. Just thought I'd answer the question in advance. Quote
kfxinsd007 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 If i may ask - since I dont know - what is the difference between the two - in case I do happen to find one. Thanks Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 (edited) one fits and the other doesn't..Chysler clock way bigger..face is different..the number 6 is not present on the Plymouth clock Edited June 4, 2010 by Tim Adams Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Chrysler clocks are taller by maybe 3/4". Desoto clocks wont fit either, taller than a plymouth by maybe 3/8-1/2". Quote
