Good luck with it, I enjoy mine. Was worth effort. I took my Cranbrook from Mt. View, CA to Detroit MI last August for Woodward Dream Cruise. I enjoyed the AC a lot. I did have heat issues a few times but I learned how to correct it, and it is perfect now. You wont be sorry.

Don't forgot to post lots of pictures of your progress once you start adding weight under hood :)

Finally got by the local auto AC place and bought my stubs, and an inline service port so I can attach my binary switch for low pressure cutout and also high pressure cutout. Have mocked up my hoses, cut to length..oriented the fittings and ready to take to the shop for correct size hose and crimps.

What kind of AC are you using? Under dash or in dash? I'm researching AC for my D24, will be running a 318. Got any pictures?

Hola All

My A/C unit is hanging/mounted to the passenger side door. I refill the water level at every gas stop and it is always a conversation started with others ah galkin at it.

The biggest problem I have with it, is to look twice to the right for other traffic.

My neighbor across the street could use some easy to follow 1-2-3 type of directions for his 1950 Windsor though.

Hey Tim. Thanks for the information and pictures. I like the idea of running the vents out thru the dash.
