How do you replace bulbs in the instrument panel on a 1950 desoto and the instrument light switch?

the sockets are "snap-in" style hats that are easy to remove..however at times it can be a task due to possible big hands and small access areas..

usually the light switch is removed by taking the knob off the stem, unscrewing the decorative bezel from the switch and extracting the switch from the rear of the panel..

Pictured is the light socket on my P-15. I believe your Desoto is the same.

On a 50 DeSota, it's pretty tough just to get up in there-kinda like a 50 Chrysler.
