JIPJOBXX Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 What could the guy who did this the first time have been thinking that would make him want to do it in the first place??? Leave it to German engineering... http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=RobaJKGMMiE Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Definitely different stunt. Would need a lot of faith in the equipment, let alone steady nerves. Quote
40plyrod Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Too scary for me! I've blown my share of hydraulic hoses working with equipment on the farm and I'm never that far off the ground when they go:eek: Quote
Niel Hoback Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Indeed, I have seen many hoses and even cylinder packing seals blow. Even scarier is the guy standing underneath the crane. Everybody unvolved there would have been fired had they been working at my job. It's always fun until somebody gets hurt. Quote
randroid Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Folks, I'd do it in a hot second, but I've never been accused of having the good sense God gave animal crackers. -Randy Quote
martybose Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 That Dude isn't wearing any safety gear at all!Not even gloves or, God forbid, safety glasses! Please tell me he's wearing steel toe shoes! Man did my last job have me trained. We couldn't breathe on company property without safety glasses with side shields!!!! Very impressive demo. Well, he sure didn't look like he was on company property, and I doubt seriously that safety glasses or gloves would have mattered much if it didn't work. It was impressive, however. Marty Quote
JIPJOBXX Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 Did you see that base jumping parachute that he had on??? Quote
RobertKB Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Unique and very interesting. No more dangerous that surfing 50' waves.......which means you had better know what you are doing and have a lot of nerve! They some people don't feel truly alive until they are risking that fragile thing we call life. Quote
