Fireball,Whats up??? USA up 6-0 in the first :P

What was the final? I had my DVR set to record it so I could watch it when I got home from work. However, it only recorded 2 hours and stopped with 8:06 left in the game. It was still 6-0 at that point. Was there any more goals by anyone? I'm assuming the USA won?

Good luck in the Bronze game guys. By the way... What does SUOMI mean on the Finland team jerseys? I noticed that on the women's hockey team too.

Finland scored one goal in the third period on a deflected shot, after a goalie change by the US team.

I tuned in at the 10 minute mark and it was 6 - 0 already. This against a team that had only allowed 4 goals total in their previous games. Crazy...

Soon it's SHOWTIME, but where is Uncle Pekka, the faithful defender and backbone of the forums Finnish lineup???

Uh, Unkka was at work when you guys were getting ready for the big slaughter.

(Came home 10PM just before the game)

Well, as if my memory serves me right, we did not exactly kicked US butt's, but actually quite the opposite (and I do not refer to what's on the other side of butt...)

Alltogether one shitty Friday...

Team Finland is playing bronze game tomorrow morning at 05.00 am with Slovakia. Should I wake or should I sleep, that's the question. And grande finale USA-CAN at evening finalises the whole Olympic Circus.

Considering all the whining and b!itch!ng going on here before the games, they have turned out to be just the ticket for a long, cold winter.

Yes, maybe your team didn't get Gold, but in the big scheme of things, this has been a friendly, good spirited event.

OH, and congrats in advance to the US hockey team on their Silver Medal!!!

Pat Unfortunately, I will be a at a live La Crosse game while the USA v Canada Hockey game is happening. However I am sure they will pump in highlights and scores on the megatron. So I will be able to enjoy two Victories, Syracuse University over Army in LaCrosse, and USA in Hockey.

Youth, speed and physicality will prevail against age, and experience.

Prediction USA 5 Canada 4, shots on goal will heavily favor the US team and Team Canada will wither against the sustained barrage, in the final period.

The US players are the up and comers in the toruney and want to establish a name for themselves.

And now for something more mechanically related, How about the little fat dude on USA 1 Bobsled??????

Now if the wife walks in and finds you watching the hockey game, drinking a beer, and wearing your helmet, won't she find that a bit unusual?

Not if you live in Canada!

Team Finland won the bronze, tight game it was. I'm glad I woke up early and saw it online. Now it's only the finals left, interesting to see who wins. I think it'll be USA, after 30 years it's about the time.

Night train USA 1 bobsled takes gold medal.

This is especially neat when you consider that the bobsled came into being because NASCAR racer Geoff Bodine got annoyed about the US team having to use obsolete foreign sleds and decided to find out what it takes to make a competitive bobsled. Geoff's sleds are now considered to be state-of-the-art.

Congratulations to team Canada Hockey. My consolation is I got the margine of victory correct, but the other facts wrong. Silver is a good thing.
