I am using a Cheapie DynoMax turbo flow on my single system. It growls a bit under full acceleration but is quiet at cruising speeds. Sounds exactely right to my ear at 40 to 50mph. I guess I have outgrown glass packs and flow max style stuff, but I don't like the vacuum cleaner whoosh of the stock type.

The DynoMax is basically a baffled muffler which bounces the sound around a couple times before setting it free.

I believe the sort of flat, oval shaped muffler was original style on these old Plyms.

A muffler shop can probably get you one.

I had that style, then the engine backfired and made it a bit fatter.

Now using a resonator muffler off somthing (don't know what)....makes a little

noise, but not really the sound I want.

well mine sounded good untill i decided to go over a speed bump with 6 adults in the car. its a little louder now thanks to the 6" gap in the side where the seam came apart.

a quiet muffler would be one of a generic in nature, select on inlet outlet size and location, oval shape is good and the longer the quieter on the average..any parts counter guy should/will get you the Walker mufler book so you can pick and choose..
