BobT-47P15 Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 on the bay. Nice looking car with a V8...... Has a "space saver" spare. A cute trailer. Young Ed Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 I saw that car too Bob. Anyone want to tell him he has a sedan not a coupe? The belt moulding all the way to the back makes it a deluxe 2dr touring sedan. The bump for the trunk is the touring part. Being a deluxe this would have had the first for plymouth column shift. The 39 roadking was still floor shift. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 I personally like the 2 door sedan over the coupe body...but what the hell do I know about style and looks..I bought a bullet nosed Studebaker while back. Quote
Young Ed Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 I really liked dads 39. His was the roadking version of that rod. Its new owner has it for sale again because he bought a 39 coupe. Quote
junkyardjeff Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 I need to quit looking at pics of 39s as I wish now I would of kept the 39 sedan delivery I inherited from my father, the city was on my case about too many cars so I sold it. I have finished his 55 ford sunliner and could now work on it but I just recently sold all the remaining 39 parts I had so there is no sense in getting another 39 unless its complete and does not need much.
