Hey all, installed my "dummy radio" to day, along with new lighter knob, and shifter knob, still need a stainless shifter knob dbezel, like hens teeth.

Also bought some fair condition rocker trims, here is alsoa pick of them being held on with clammps.

Everything is an improvement, but hardly a show quality car...

Fred,

I know the emblem above the speaker says 'Chrysler', but when I first opened the picture it looked like 'Changeling'. Maybe there's a reason these weary eyes played a trick on me.

The dash looks very nice.

You sure have one nice looking dash, the radio looks good in there.

Not to worry about the radio, I found a radio for my car in Little York,NY in 1992 for a dollar, the radio naturally didn't work, but I installed it that afternoon, It has been in my Plymouth since, and I enjoy the fact that it is there even if it doesn't work

Since my car had the running board delete option, I have only been able to find one correct stainless steel spear for the rocker panels, and that is on the driver's side, the passenger side one isn't correct, but it is MOPAR related. My theory is that you can only see one side at a time")")

Keep us posted on your progress,

Bob

Driver quality is a lot more fun than show quality. Do you get a lot of comments from folks when you pull in for gas or drive through town? People love seeing the old ones being driven.

Thanx for the comments Guys, she is coming along, I even have new glass for the dash it will go in soon, the dash door will be getting re-done by a gent up here in Winnipeg, he makes the knobs too for shifters, Cowl Vent, lighter, window cranks, dash pieces, he does steering wheels too, does very nice work, but is costly.

He emailed me today, to tell me a the dies he made to remake the shifter knob bezel is working well, so will have the shifter bezel too.

I have a nice working temp gauge and sender to go back in to, that way will get rid of the after market gauge, the dash will then be complete.....Fred

PS, I was given, by the above noted Gent, a tip on how to make rocker trim clips for our rocker trims, using flat stock 1/8 x 1 inch steel or aluminum, I have made a prototype from a wood paint stir stick, it works great, now will make up the clips.....Fred
