1940plymouth Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 I know this is way off topic, but I had to share my co-pilot's new coat my wife made for him last night Hope everyone doesn't mind me doing so, Bob Quote
dezeldoc Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 YA know what they say; everything looks good in John Deere green!!! Quote
greg g Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 I might have thought you would have sought out a Cooper Tire Logo. But he looks well turned out for the season. Quote

Normspeed Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Only problem is, it isn't an Allis-Chalmers orange. The guy has to have his safety gear when he's busy being a garage dog, right? Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 He could have another coat with a 40 Plymouth emblem on it. Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 That's nice. You should send that picture into Jay Leno. He loves pets with coats, boots and hats on. Or, I guess he still does. Haven't been watching him now since he's started his new show. Only saw it once or twice so far. Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 19, 2009 Author Report Posted October 19, 2009 Thanks for all the nice replies. There is an old style Plymouth patch on ebay right now that I am watching, plus yesterday I emailed Cooper tire to see about getting a Cooper tire patch. If I am lucky enough to get the Plymouth patch, then my wife will make Cooper another coat and the same if we get the Cooper tire patch. Last November when we got Cooper he was just eight weeks old, we picked him up in the Plymouth after my wife got off of work, then once we had the puppy, we took him down to the shop where my youngest son works to show him. The owner of the shop asked if we had named him yet, as he was asking me, I was reading the Cooper tire sign that he had in the shop, I said yes, his name is Cooper. This is basically what I told the Cooper tire company yesterday when I emailed them. Now time will tell Thanks again, Bob Quote
greg g Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I know Cooper accompanies you on a lot of your Plymouth trips. And if Cooper Tire doesn't come through and send you a patch, I will stop buying their tires. Our little dog has gone with us on several of our long trips on the Plymouth. If she is in the house and I go out in the garage, and start the Plymouth, she gets all excited. So far all she does is bark when I crank up the Studebaker. Quote
aero3113 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Maybe Cooper will get lucky and he will become the new Cooper tire mascot:D. When we take our French Bulldog Zoe out for a ride in the 50 Plymouth she runs right for the car. Quote

If you don't get the one on ebay, PM me and I'll look. If I still have two, you can make a donation to the site and I'll send one to you. Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 Norm, Thanks for the offer, I will know sometime Friday how I faired with the patch, then I will let you know. I haven't heard from Cooper Tire as of yet, which kinda surprises me, but I will give them a few more days, then I will call them for giggles Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 Just got off the phone with Cooper Tire, the lady in advertising said she read the email yesterday and Cooper's Patch is on its way:) Quote
