RobertKB Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 My Dodge D25, as many of you know, is in for a repaint. I usually go out each Friday, talk to the guy doing it, and take him a few beers. He says it will be ready for paint next week. He works at his own pace and is a perfectionist. I go and pull parts on the D25 I am parting out and then sit and BS and have a couple of cool ones. Nice way to spend a Friday afternoon. Quote

RobertKB Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 Looking good Robert, you certainly found the right guy! How did you manage to run across him? He is the son of one of the members of the car club I belong to. First time I met him he was working on a Studebaker convertible that was rotted out, I mean rotted out big time. It needed inner and outer rocker panels and a ton of other body work. I decided then I would like him to paint my '38 Chrysler project which he did about six years ago. Picture of car attached. I have always wanted to repaint my '48 Dodge D25 and now was the time. He was free to do it, price was as reasonable as a quality paint job can be, and the deal was made. A big bonus is that he loves to work on old cars and won't touch the new stuff. I know it will be as nice as my '38 when done. Fred, you and your family are welcome here any time. Would love to meet you. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Lookin' fine, Robert. And, the Chrysler is a class act. Quote
