Guest mikeys toy Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 My buddy Jim is giving me a '61 Dart Pioneer I've been lusting after, so I'm selling the '53 Thanks for all your help, and if you could steer me in the direction of a good forward look forum I would appreciate it. Love, Mikey Quote
Young Ed Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Lots of knowledge around here for even later mopars. Don't think anyone will object to you hanging around. There is also the forwardlook.com Am I correct thats the cheapy model without these really sweet jet like taillights?? Quote
Normspeed Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Well good luck to you. At least you're staying with the Mopar line. Slant six, I'll guess. Hey, you could still stop in and chat. Quote
Guest mikeys toy Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 it's the middle of the dart line, s/s with #5 smacking the starter. Been sitting in the same scrapyard since '76 and I got it to fire up today buttt-ugly, but I just love the shape. If Jim ever sells me his '57 plymouth 2dr h/t Gasser, I will be in heaven! I'll still be in and out, someone buy Jelly from me....I've done the hard work Quote
PatS.... Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Hey, Mike, don't think just because you don't fit neatly into the P15-D24 slot that you are not welcome. Stick around and keep us up to date on the Dodge. This old girl is for sale locally and has been for quite a while. $1000can I'm really thinkin about grabbing it and setting it aside for a 440 I know of Quote
Guest mikeys toy Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Yeah; I won't be totally leaving. I've always felt welcome here as opposed to the HAMB there there is certain exclusivity...... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 The HAMB is different..and so are a couple of the other forums I am on..each has its own personality. If you rodding or customizing..the HAMB is the best source for info and the creativity is just un-real..from the wild to the traditional. I have had a few deals with the HAMB people and straight up every one of them..little rough around the edges but sincere and honest. They are good for staying in touch and keeping tabs with your project. Lots of how-to over there..I am glad they are there...I drop in there almost daily as I write and answer a lot of PM's. There are some that think I knock the HAMB..but its just the opposite..they just marching to a different tune 95 per cent of the time in regard to what I do with my cars, but...I still hear their music.. For the old Mopars..I truly feel that this is the best clearing house for info bar none. Quote
De Soto Frank Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Mikey, For "customer satisfaction" and moral support, nothing beats this site. If you want, you could check-out the Forward Look site... they focus on '55-'62 MoPar, and are a pretty good bunch... but you'll never find "all the love" that's right here... ! Good luck with your "big Dart"... hope it has floors and a trunk ! Frank McMullen Quote
De Soto Frank Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I see the fin of a '60 Chrysler peeking-out behind the Dodge... Quote
