1949dodge Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 inspected last in 1960. I found it going to a yard sale. it was in a barn. stupidly solid. needs brakes gone over and tank cleaned out. what do ya think? Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I think it looks darn good for its model....... Welcome to the best ol Mopar forum on the airwaves. I guess you got my message...over on the HAMB. Bob Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 :DPretty nice for sittin' all those years. Good find! Tom Quote
RobertKB Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Buy it if price is reasonably. Not many like that around with good trim, bumpers, etc. Only drawback for some, not me, is that it is a more door. Quote
Charlie Olson Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 If it is priced right, buy it. Do a super duper job of detailing it; fix, tune, or repair for safety features, keep as original as possible and drive it. Just make sure it isn't a hidden rust bucket. Quote
1949dodge Posted June 27, 2009 Author Report Posted June 27, 2009 Oh I bought it that day. its home now. pulled the carpet only to find my own reflection staring back at me in the nice glossy black paint on the floorboards. no joke. this car is super solid. re work the brakes, buff it up and drive it. more door or not its very hard to find em like that at all. it cost less that 1 coker white wall tire:D is that a deal? Quote
RobertKB Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 That is a deal. I am green with envy. Enjoy a great car. Quote

You don't really want a ugly old 4dr,do ya? Arthur Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 When you get a chance take a picture of the floorboard. I've never seen one with shiny black paint. They're usually rusty or rusted out. Tom Quote
Normspeed Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 That one is in really decent shape, from the dash to the pot metal. Would be a good candidate for a restore a good fixup. Quote
