De Soto Frank Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Cool ! Been wondering how a striping wheel would do.... What year Buick - '41 ? Quote
Reg Evans Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Looks good Bob ! I'll have to get one and give it a try. I had one about 30 years ago but it's mia now. Quote
RobertKB Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Where can you buy a striping tool? Thanks. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Robert, in J.C. Whitney's catalog and probably on ebay and many other sites. Possibly even at your local parts place. There not rare like the brake tool Quote
De Soto Frank Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Should be able to find them at an auro-body supplier. Beugler is supposed to be the best brand of wheel-type striper... If no other source turns-up, Eastwood sells them here in the US... ( someone else must sell them cheaper though...) Frank McMullen Quote
David Maxwell Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 ...how it works out when it arrives. I got the one with the two stripe option. Hopefully it will allow me to apply the two thin stripes far enough apart to allow me to come back with the heavier stripe down the middle. Quote
JohnS48plm Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 I have one of the Buegler stripers that I bought at a swap meet. I striped my 33 coupe a few years ago and it worked well. I also put a side door on my Town and Country minivan. It was the same color as the van but had no pinstripe. So I got some matching enamel and now the door looks like it came on the van. One Shot sign painters enamel works best for me. Quote
