Plymouthy Adams Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 without a dyno run tracking the curve..guessing is all you have..may be good at one end and not the other or both ends and flat in the middle....however for ohs and awes at the show..mighty impressive...give you a big ole plus there... moose Posted May 5, 2009 Author Report Posted May 5, 2009 I think this is far from a tunnel ram. These are long runners with gentle curves and a small diameter, which would lend itself to higher intake velocity at low RPM's. In the low range the inertia of the air/fuel mixture should kinda be pushed into the combustion chamber. It might not have the high range that it used to. I don't know, I'm just going to drive it and find out:D Quote
moose Posted May 14, 2009 Author Report Posted May 14, 2009 I finally did some more finish work on my linkage and stuff for my manifold, even though I've been driving it all week, and I'm very pleased. I also received a shipment from delcity.net--battery cables, and ends, and solder plugs, and Shrink tube. Made my new cables today from 2 gauge cable, and it really made quite a difference. It spins as fast now as it did when I got a jump start last week. Anyone that is considering switching to 12 volts so that it will start easier, should first try running cables like these. Quote
Frank Elder Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Some of the guys are running 00 cable and swear by it starting mighty fast. Mine is the stock replacement size, it's ok...but could be better. Quote
