Running Boards.. Help!

Ok, So I bought these running boards from a 1953 (supposedly) and guess what.. they're 8 inches short! I have a 1953 b4c116, and I'm stumped. My running boards on my truck are 68" long. The ones I got from the other 53 are 60" long. I went out to my 52 parts truck and THEY'RE 68"!!!

Perhaps my 52 is really a 53 with a 52 bed?

What the... could someone with a 53 tell me the length of their boards? And someone with a 52?

I have two B3B 1/2 ton, 108" wheel base. Side boards are 60".

I have a B3C 3/4 ton, 116 wheel base parts truck and the side boards are 68".

Hang on to your side boards and eventually someone will need them. I may want to part out my B3C once I use all the parts I need later this year (or next). The side boards are near perfect.

From the parts book, I missed that there was a 108" wheelbase.

So, what's different about the 116" wb running boards in 52 than 53, that they have a different part #? I had assumed the 53 boards would be shorter due to the new rear fender, but no.... anyone know?

Gee, count me in. I need some running boards for my 48. the ones on it are snot welded to fenders off a 53. So really I'm looking for round fenders and a good pair of runners to start with. :D
