The Swede Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 Hello all! I´m trying to find the Universal tractor fluid you guys are using in the fluid drive Looked at Napas homepage but I´m not sure which one it is. So if someone can help me with a link to the correct fluid on their homepage it would be great! Since I am in Sweden I have to find a fluid here that is similar to the Universal tractor fluid you are using. Seeing a product sheet on the one you are using might help! Thanks Jimmy Quote

Merle Coggins Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Someone had a thread earlier stating that a hydraulic oil of ISO VG32 was pretty close to the original spec. Taking a quick look through a Volvo Construction Equipment operator's manual that I had handy, I see it shows the hydraulic oil as Swedish norm SS 15 54 34 and a viscosity rating of V32 or AV32. Actually the standard fill in the equipment is the V46/AV46, or ISO VG46 viscosity, but the 32 should also be available in Sweden. Merle Quote

James_Douglas Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 I have been working on a detail paper on fluid drive oils. Just have not had time to finish it yet. Use Mobile DTE ligth circulating oil ISO 32. I would not use anything else based on my reasearch and results. You can get it via Granger or any industrial supply house. Comes in 5 gal pale.
