Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum, just joined yesterday. I just had my 1947 Plymouth 4dr Special deluxe delivered this past Sunday. It lived in a Barn for the past 40+ years and is very original and unmolested. Has some minor dents here and there that were caused by kids some 30 years ago playing in the barn, nothing that cant be dollied out or filled. I'm sure I will learn a lot here from what I've read in the postings so far.

Regards,

Jeff Cerniglia

Im new here and any questions i had about my 1946 4 door plymouth alot of people was quick to answer and help me on my way. I recommend highly a service manual. I used to reside in Groton ct, about 3 years ago... New england is very beautiful in the fall.

If you go to your user CP area you can modify you information header to contain your Car info and location. Most members find that helpful when you start asking questions about your car.

visit the FAQ button and take a look at the info on the main page of the host site by clicking on return to P15 D24 lostsa good stuff there.

Thanks for all the warm greetings guys, I am located in Bristol Ct, between Hartford and Waterbury (Waterbury, home of Ct government corruption)

I bought an original owners manual and service manual before I even recieved delivery of the car!! What I love about this car is that it's such an untouched original, even still has the original plaid vinyl seat covers on it.

I'm not new to classic cars or trucks, having restored many over the years and also sold them. I presently also own a 1959 GMC pickup, a 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville, and a 1957 Chevy 4dr Belair. All but the GMC are projects still in different stages of restoration. You might say I have the old car bug :)

The vehicles i've done full restorations on and sent on their way to new owners include, a 1953 M37 Dodge Power wagon, a 1954 GMC M211 Deuce, a 1977 Suzuki GS750 motorcycle, and a 1964 Pontiac Catalina.

I've never been to the Rhinebeck show although I've always wanted to attend, I think this year I will go for sure since I plan on driving this plymouth until the tires fall off. Oh it will be my daily driver btw. I'll make sure I update my profile so it helps everyone out. Thanks for the welcome guys.

Welcome Jeff, hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do. I checked your profile and like your truck. Looks sharp with those colours. 73, VO1BMC. Brendan.:)

Thank you for the compliments, it's not just a show truck, it also gets worked. It's even hauled a half pallet of patio stone since I've had it.

But, keeping with the forum, here are some pics of my P-15 4dr
