Defrost duct hose

Does anyone have a source for the defrost duct hoses? I need 1 3/4" ID hose to go between my heater and the defrost vents. I found what I needed in a Napa catalog, but when I checked on it I was told that they no longer offer that hose. One of our parts guys here called a couple of other places that we deal with and came up empty.

Any other known sources for this hose????

JC whitney has it in generic plastic, gates lists it in their catalogs.

Try Menards or hardware store. Don't see why a plastic flexible drainage or water hose wouldn't do the same job. Don't have that much heat going through there.

Do what I did, I called around to different Napa stores around the country until I found one that had it in stock. I'll bet there is a Napa store out there somewhere that has them.

Merle, I have a box of the hose, how much do you need ? I'll send you the length you need. I better go check the size since bought it for a chrysler.

Merle, did you ever find a source for the 1 3/4" defroster hose?

I have looked everywhere, even online and can find every size defroster hose except the 1 3/4" size needed.

There's a distributor search on the site too. When I searched back then I found that O'Rielly Auto parts is also a Gates hose supplier.
