There is a thread going on next door about WW tires. What do you guys think about putting WW's on a clean 49 Pickup? I know it won't look right on all trucks but how do you think they would look on a truck with fairly decent paint? Like my truck here for instance:

To each his own but I have never been a big fan and only like them on cars and trucks with the big front fenders.

If you like it, do it or get someone to Photo shop them on and see. I could do it quick and easy enough with Paint with a straight on side view pic.

If you want my 2 cents, I think you've got a real nice looking truck just the way she sits. I don't even have whites on my 36 Plymouth and its for a reason. It's a 2 owner car w 46K original miles-the original owner was an old farmer that couldn't afford whites so in keeping it original I kept it the same. One less thing to clean when going to a cruise-in or a show too. They look good either way, but I'm a blackwall fan. Mike

Being a child of the 50's, I go with the whitewalls every time. My dad would have had them on every car he had but couldn't always afford them. I can and I'll put them on everything from the 30's, 40's, and 50's for sure and almost everything else.

Love the look.
