When I bought the truck it had no speedometer cable, but had speedometer. I have pulled the engine and transmission to clean up and recondition. I cant seem to notice where the speedometer cable bolts into transmission. If anyone can take a picture that would be great.
Ok, read quite a bit about this and just want to be clear. There is no drop in from champion or American or anyone else. So can someone tell me the closest match? I can stand drilling holes or trimming filler tubes, just don't want to get wrong one. Thanks in advance, not sure if the desoto or coronet would be a match. Thanks
Thank for all the input. Make sense to me. So outing it back in, do I bolt up the Tranny to the engine before it goes in? Clutch pedal a pain to get out of the war on removal, any insights?
I was pulling my engine and noticed that there is no connection to the frame from the motor mounts all the way back to the rear. So the transmission relies on engine and drive shaft relies on transmission and rear, is this correct or I am missing a part. I understand the well base is short, but I am used to 1929 fords where everything is bolted to the frame. Thanks
I have a '50 B2B where I have had to refabricate the cab floor. What I need is a picture of the through hole for the accelerator rod that engages with gas pedal. Also rough dimensions of gas pedal. Thanks
I am new to Dodge and my 1950 B2B, what is this attached to my manifold. I has a lever for a push pull knob, what does it do and how do I use it? the carburetor has a manual choke. Thanks
Hello, just broke into working on my 50 1/2 ton b2b. Was wondering if any ever bothered to create drawings of floor pan with e brake to the right of floor shifter. Thanks
Hi, New tot he forum, just picked up a B2B-1/2 ton, 1950. New to build new wiring harness, how different is the B2B from the wiring harness described on the web site for the B1B. The one thing I noticed is that my fuel tank has two leads coming from it, anything else? Thanks
