  1. When I bought the truck it had no speedometer cable, but had speedometer. I have pulled the engine and transmission to clean up and recondition. I cant seem to notice where the speedometer cable bolts into transmission. If anyone can take a picture that would be great.
  2. As soon as I install it, I will post pictures. Massachusetts is cold enough so you should feel comfortable with your truck in Arizona.
  3. Gary, I didn't get a radiator with my truck, so could you send me a picture of your install. Thanks
  4. Ok, read quite a bit about this and just want to be clear. There is no drop in from champion or American or anyone else. So can someone tell me the closest match? I can stand drilling holes or trimming filler tubes, just don't want to get wrong one. Thanks in advance, not sure if the desoto or coronet would be a match. Thanks
  5. The piston measures 3.25 and the cylinder measures 3.28, which rings do I buy. I attached picture of my Pistons.
  6. Thank for all the input. Make sense to me. So outing it back in, do I bolt up the Tranny to the engine before it goes in? Clutch pedal a pain to get out of the war on removal, any insights?
  7. I have the front engine mount and the bell housing mount, thought that the transmission or drive shaft would have had some kind of support.
  8. I was pulling my engine and noticed that there is no connection to the frame from the motor mounts all the way back to the rear. So the transmission relies on engine and drive shaft relies on transmission and rear, is this correct or I am missing a part. I understand the well base is short, but I am used to 1929 fords where everything is bolted to the frame. Thanks
  9. Awesome, exactly what I needed.
  10. I have a '50 B2B where I have had to refabricate the cab floor. What I need is a picture of the through hole for the accelerator rod that engages with gas pedal. Also rough dimensions of gas pedal. Thanks
  11. Great, thanks for the details. I am going to fab my own rods, once I get the engine running I will have more questions.
  12. So what does the linkage between the sisson auto choke and the carb look like? Does anyone have a picture.
  13. Not a car engine has a TT number, that matches can and frame dates. I knew original owner. So do I need a nob and cable to make this work?
  14. Ok, so I have two chokes? Which one do I use? Do I use them both? Close on start the open after engine warms up? Thanks
  15. I am new to Dodge and my 1950 B2B, what is this attached to my manifold. I has a lever for a push pull knob, what does it do and how do I use it? the carburetor has a manual choke. Thanks
  16. Brent, an outline would be great. Standard 3 speed. Thanks.
  17. Hello, just broke into working on my 50 1/2 ton b2b. Was wondering if any ever bothered to create drawings of floor pan with e brake to the right of floor shifter. Thanks
  18. My ignition has three positions center, left and right. As I have a none running engine, trying to knw what is off, on and acc? thanks
  19. Hi, New tot he forum, just picked up a B2B-1/2 ton, 1950. New to build new wiring harness, how different is the B2B from the wiring harness described on the web site for the B1B. The one thing I noticed is that my fuel tank has two leads coming from it, anything else? Thanks
