  1. Turned 70 this year and it's time to start cleaning up the farm.  In addition to trying to sell off some of the many projects I have available, https://p15-d24.com/topic/51525-dodge-projects-1949-dodge-route-van-project/?tab=comments#comment-547752, it's also time to get serious on the projects I need to finish:

Need to complete final restoration on 1952 Dodge B-3-D-126, first old truck I purchased that wasn't new when I bought it.  It's been disassembled in my barn for years after mechanical restoration.  Don't have enough time for all my projects and relying more on outside help to get these done.

Project completed this past year includes mechanical restoration on 1949 Dodge B-1-D-126 Flat Bed from Nevada.  Truck was given to me by an old friend.  Lesson learned:  Even a free truck costs at least $5,000 to get back on the road.

Nearly completed mechanical restoration on 1949 Dodge B-1-C-116 Dual-Rear-Wheel-Drive with one-ton axles.  Have a younger neighbor helping with the restoration.

Best of all:  Finishing touches on the 1974 Dodge D600 rollback car hauler with the 1989 Dodge Cummins 12-valve diesel engine and Getrag 5-speed transmission.  Kept the original 2-speed rear end.  Already have over 1,000 miles on the truck going to local car shows in the area.  Minor issues left to complete:  restoration of original gauges and steering wheel, complete exhaust with single chrome stack, and speedometer adapter for the Getrag transmission.  Speedometer has to read nearly 90 mph to run with 65-mph traffic at a ratio of 1.35:1.  Turbo Cummins glides over the hills carrying a 7,000-lb truck on board.

Project just started:  1938 Dodge Pickup:  Need one headlight bezel, two hubcaps, crank-out windshield regulator stainless strip, and rarest of all crank hole cover.  Building a show quality street rod with a 2014, 5.7-liter Hemi.  Surprise to some of you:  My wife is insisting we complete this project and she is willing to invest her own money in the build.

Project I need to start:  1948 Dodge B-1-H Parts Truck:  Cab and front end sheet metal onto a 1995 Dodge W3500 Cummins chassis that came from a coal mine where I used to work.  Entire body, even the roof, is dented except for the mine-shop-built, road-warrior bumpers, but has only 116,000 miles on the odometer.  Will use the truck for my Mobile Drill from the 1974 Dodge W200 Drill Truck from Kansas.  Use the drill for soil sampling with my engineering projects.  Drill Truck works fine, but could use more power and ground clearance here in Colorado.  Plan on significant chassis and suspension modification to the 1995 Dodge to make the drill truly off-road.  Planning multi-link independent suspension front and rear to crawl over any off-road obstacles.

Project still dreaming about:  1948 Dodge B-1-F Parts Truck:  Cab and front end sheet metal onto a 1979 Dodge W100, short-frame chassis with dual transfer cases for a rock crawler buggy.  Thinking of using the 1990 Dodge D350 Cummins with 5-speed transmission for power.

The list goes on.  Please help.  I can't possible finish all these trucks myself.  My problem is I don't see the trucks as they are, but as they can be.

    Thank you.

  7. Have about 50 old Dodge trucks from 1938 to 1996. Mostly from the 1950's. Open nearly every day. Admission is free. Please call before you arrive. Thank you. Tom Anderson, Paonia CO, vikingminer49er@gmail.com, 970-986-1020
  8. Thank you. That makes a total of 8 that I know of.
  9. On my way home from AZ with Spring Special #3. So far, I know of 7 intact Spring Specials. I restored in California, I in Texas, 2 in Kansas, and three now in Colorado. Anyone know of any others? Please call, text, or email. Thank you. Tom Anderson, Paonia CO, 970-986-1020, vikingminer49er@gmail.com
  10. Way cool! Even has trucks I don't have - yet!
  11. Contacted her and she's still looking. Her truck is a 56 Fargo. My error.
  12. May have what you need. Is it 3-speed or 4-speed transmission? Call, text, or email. Tom Anderson, Paonia CO, 970-986-1020, vikingminer49er@gmail.com
  13. Good trucks and parts aren't cheap, and cheap trucks and parts aren't good, generally speaking.
  14. There's a gal in Hawaii that was looking for a tailgate for her 55 Fargo. If you know where she can get one you might be able to swap videos with her.
  15. Next on my list will be a 1947 COE. Already made the deal, but waiting for the farmer to clear his stuff out of the way before I can get to it. I'd post a photo but I don't know how. Just remember that the older one gets, everything else gets older too.
  16. Keep getting error message when I try. Says the limit is 3MB. I know a few things about the trucks, but not so much about the computer
  17. Would love to show the photos, but I still haven't learned how to add them to the site. Please help me resize my photos to fit the limits. BTW. There is a semi-tractor available on the web at a consignment site in Cadillac MI, but can't get a response on it. There's also a L1000 on the ATHS site in MD. Either one could pull my 1973 Brown ex-Pepsi trailer full of Dodge parts.
  18. Bought the 53 DeSoto to transplant the Firedome into the 38 RC. You are welcome to visit the hysterical Dodge collection. Admission is free. Please call before you come. I may be out gathering up more trucks. Tom Anderson, Paonia CO, 970-986-1020, vikingminer49er@gmail.com
  19. Would like to know how many Spring Specials are out there. I own three, and I know where there are two in Kansas. Please call, text, or email. Thank you. Tom Anderson, Paonia CO, 970-986-1020, vikingminer49er@gmail.com
  20. Anyone want a Spring Special?  I have two.  My photos are too large to post. Call, text, or email for photos and details. Thank you.
