  1. thanks, There are some nice shots of the interior in that ad. I've saved them for future reference.
  2. More photos. Interior stripped and ready to go in for repairs. A bit of work in the rockers, drivers side floor, and rear.
  3. Some great cats there. I usually bring my camera to events, left it at home this time. Took a few with the camera phone though, and got one of Moose's ride:
  4. Had a great time out there. It was good to meet everyone. Hopefully I'll have my car ready for the next one. Erich
  5. Its not too far off my path. 495-290. I'll shoot to get down that way if I can get up early enough to make it for the AM. I'm working late tonight and won't get home until about midnight.
  6. Its about 130 miles for me, but I'm going to be in a modern car (Mustang). Will try to look out for people. What is everyone driving? I'm still new to these cars, and trying to absorb as much as possible. Erich
  7. Mine was a 1989 Mustang LX notchback. Bought with 500 miles on it, and shared it with my sister. Had it up until about 4 years ago. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/89m_4.html
  8. Nice, A friend and I have discussed finding and restoring some vintage sleds up here in NH. Haven't got to it yet. RSD
  9. Looking very nice.
  10. I actually like many of the customs out there. Its good to see people having fun and being creative. The one above has some items that work and some that don't to my eyes, but its cool that the original owner and builder went for it. While I'd rather see someone do something maybe inspired by but different, but if the owner really wants a clone, then thats cool. The main thing that I see with custom cars is the same I saw all the time with bikes. Everyone was building the same Triton with the same Akront rims, same alloy tank, bump stop seat, and just about everything else matching. Gets boring pretty fast. The worst though was when a newer magazine slapped some clip-on bars and rear sets on a modern Triumph, then added 'Triton' lettering to the tank. Kind of missed the point completely. Have fun and build something different, it makes seeing these projects more interesting. Erich
  11. We have some nice roads up here. Really is nice in the non winter months (I grew up in the South) Its a 2 door, hope the link to the thread works http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=32602
  12. Not too bad from my perspective. The Chrysler doesn't seem too bad for parts for me, but I'm coming from the view point of my MGB as well as vintage motorcycles like my BMW and Norton. Compared to those, current pricing for American iron parts ain't bad at all.
  13. Welcome from just a bit North in New Hampshire. I also recently found this site through the HAMB. Great reading and looks like a good group of guys. I'm working on a '54 Windsor and have found some great stuff on here. Erich
  14. I'll be there. Know the place as I used to attend the Mass British bike meet there when I had Sundays off. Erich
  15. I'd love to get down to check it out. Don't think the windsor will be ready though. Eric
  16. Thanks for the link. Definitely one or two gems in there. I could pass on most of them though. RSD
  17. That would have been cool. Whenever its ready, just let me know and I can swing down that way to save the trouble of shipping. I'm usually off Tuesdays and Saturdays if thats cool. Erich
  18. Sorry I missed this. Got most of the interior of the Windsor out though, so not a bad day off. Erich
  19. Looks like a great start. I'll enjoy hearing more about the build.
  20. Nice, I saw the pics on his site, but not the video.
  21. Thanks, thats a great link.
  22. When I lived in Atlanta, there was a great place just outside of Athens, Ga that had over 100 cars from the early 70's back. This one reminds me of a '59 caddy with a tree growing through the engine compartment they had. Still wish I could have figured out how to get the Edsel out of the tangled mess of pine trees and underbrush...
  23. Hi guys, Just trying to figure out what the original color of my '54 Windsor was when it left the factory. The build plate on the fire wall lists paint code as 68 and trim code as 22. I can't seem to find a match for that anywhere. Thanks, Eric
  24. A bit more work. Pulled the carpets and some trim as they were too far gone. Evicted the family of mice from the rocker panel as well as the ones under the rear seat. Pulled a bad riveted floor patch panel and found a bit of a mess. Looks like some significant repairs on the drivers side in order. Passenger side not too bad, just need to get rid of some spray in insulation and can get to work repairing it. A quick pic of the radio that was in the trunk. Not sure if it is correct for the '54, as the car doesn't seem to have had one mounted in the traditional location.
