  1. That's why I turned it off Norm. There are no settings on the ISP provided one. You either have them block what they determine to be spam or not. And if they block it its deleted permanently. So far I haven't gotten flooded with spam so I hope its ok. Ed
  2. Bob How did you email me yesterday? I still wonder why I'm not getting as many emails as I should be. I went in and turned off my ISPs spam blocker. I'm going to try just replying on my PCs blocker. Atleast with that one if a message gets blocked that shouldn't be you can retrieve it out of a folder. Ed
  3. Tim they were probably thinking OH great what did he drag home this time.... At least that's what my neighbors would be thinking HAHA
  4. Ok lets see if mine worked.
  5. Norm I just went and turned on show signatures in the UserCP. I can see yours and the others just fine. Now off to create my own.
  6. Bob I never got it. My home email seems really cruddy lately! I think I'm going to go complain to them. Ed
  7. I wonder what the 42 plymouths used? The 41s use the same ship as the p15s only with slanted letters. The p15s have the block letters. I can't imagine either company made different caps for 1/2 a year. Let me know when you get them-I'm curious to know. Ed
  8. Hi Merle Mine came from a 51 plymouth. Anything from the 40s through I believe 53 will work. I have a 54 diff in my 48 club coupe and in order to do that we had to swap the side gears. Sometime around 54 they changed the spline count on the axles. Ed
  9. I've already gotten 2. One from GTK to confirm I made it into the new forum and one from Allan about a deal we made. It works good. I am wondering if there will be any provisions for a live chat in here? Couple other boards I am on have live chats 1-2 times a week. Quite fun. Ed
  10. Reg Have you seen one that actually looks like that? Sometimes the artists got a little creative in the ads. I've got the ones with the slant on my pickup. I believe 9inch ones. Ed
  11. I'm hoping to catch a picture of my truck and coupe together. I've had the both of them for like 3 years but never in the same place at the same time! Ed
  12. If you have a 1/2 ton you could do what I did. Just swap the diff to a car unit. I put a 3.90 in my 46 and it cruises nicely now. 3.73 was also available. Ed
  13. The local flathead guru says to run 200 miles on straight 30 nondetergent to start and then go to 10w40 or whatever you plan to use. To him a mopar flathead is childs play. He does stuff way older then that all time. Also has the contract for the antique packard limo service in town. Ed
  14. I'm planning on it. Its about 700 miles for me. There are a few of us from the tall pines region that plan to caravan down that way. I need to get busy and reserve my room. Not sure what vehicle I'll be driving. I'm pretty sure my coupe would make it. I did 540 miles in 3 days a few weekends ago. Oh and I already checked its the weekend before back to the 50s weekend here so I'm set that way too! Ed
  15. Sorry I'm a little outdated by you pilot house guys
  16. Bob Who's speedo is that? Might be a good way to get turn signal indicators too! Looks like there are arrows up in the corners. Ed
  17. My 46 has that same system for the spare tire. I've had my U piece upside down for 5 years now. Doesn't seem to have hurt anything. I can't comment on the new bolts thing because I didn't have old ones so I was making my own anyways. Besides I don't think the old ones would have been long enough for my radials either. Ed
  18. Had issues with not getting my registration confirmation email. GTK got it straightened out for me. Ed
