Think I need a new tank, as I can not seem to get gas to the fuel pump. Runs great from a gas can, but nothing when I connect the fuel line to tank. Called Tanks inc, they have tanks for 38-39 and 41-48, but nothing for 40. Is the 40 tank that different from 41-48? Anyone used one of their 41-48 tanks in a 40, or should I just have the current tank cleaned, to see if that is my problem. Thanks Greg

Just looks like it in the picture, came out beautiful. Now time for "Dottie" to go into the paint booth, just can't decide what color to paint her(too many choices).

Not sure if its ok to give props to a certain company on here, but am very happy with the work "The Clock Works" did on a P-15 clock I bought on EBay. It was in pretty rough shape, but $99 and a week and a half later, it looks great(Also converted to 12V). Been looking a long time for a clock for the old girl, and finally got one! (After/Before)

Thanks Don for that. Figured out I did not need the black wire. Red to tail light, green ground, and yellow turn signal. Really like the new lights, don't have to re-chrome original ones, and can see them much better. Appreciate it...Greg

Bought a set of 12v LED tailights from a guy. I have two wires going to the original tailights, a driving/ brake light wire and a turn signal wire. Anyone know how to wire the new 4 wire(black, red, yellow, green) LED tailights assemblies to make them work. Looked for directions on line, but no luck. Thanks for any help...Greg

Thank you for clarifying that for me. Just was speaking to a gentleman who has a dodge trunk lid and said the numbers matched. Will just keep looking for a plymouth lid. Thanks as always for all the great info...Greg

Wow, I did not know that Plymouth was smaller than the rest. Oh well, if anyone needs a deck lid for a Dodge, Desoto, or Chrysler, its for sale and willing to deal. As always, thanks a lot for all the great info. Greg

Guys, Just purchased a trunk lid similar to the one pictured for my 47 plymouth four door sedan. Was told it was for a 46-48 chrysler, which I just assumed would fit my plymouth. But as usual I was wrong, seems to have a little more arc than my trunk lid. Looks like it might be for a desoto, are trunk lids different for the different chrysler models? Thanks as always...UGH!

Guys, I purchased this temp gauge that I was told was for a Plymouth. Once I bought it I realized the temp pointer comes from the bottom. The gauge did not fit as the temp gauge for a Plymouth comes from the top. If so is this temp gauge for a Dodge or some other model? Thank goodness I found the right gauge, so I am planning on selling this one, just want to give the correct description. Greg

Thank you so much guys. Will try and replace those bushings to see if that gets rid of the noise. Running 16" stock wheels.

Trying to figure out why Everytime I make a turn(on a sloped driveway or sloped street) I get a clunking noise from the rear of the car. It almost sounds like the noise a beer can makes when you push on the side of a empty can. Could it be the car twisting and the sheet metal making that noise? Suspension problem? Tried to get it to do it in the garage, but no luck. Not a big deal, but just wondering if I have a bigger underlying problem. Thanks for any ideas..Greg

Tried a little heat, but don't think my propane torch will get it hot enough. Going to take it to local welder to see if he can help. Thanks as always..Greg

Bought a new door to replace my damaged one. Could not get hinge pin out so cut off the hinge on the trashed door. Now I have the hinge out of the car, but can not get the remaining portion of the pin out of the bracket. I am soaking in PB Blaster, but do not think that is going to work. Tried to drill it out but hard as heck. Thinking about taking to machine shop and see if they can help. Anyone have any other ideas, as I need to get this out to put on new door. If no ideas, anyone have a extra bottom passenger door hinge they would be willing to sell me? Thanks as always for the help.

Anyone purchase one of these door skins for sale on EBay. Finally got all the paint off the Plymouth, and realized somebody put about a 1/2" of bondo on my drivers side passenger door to hide some serious damage. Thought about maybe trying to reskin door, instead of pull and patch the mess they made. Thanks Greg

If anyone is looking for a nice 2 door plymouth, I found this one on Craigslist Dallas. I wish I could buy it, but wife said only one toy at a time...

How to remove choke and throttle knob from cable, help!
Greg F replied to OldDad67's topic in P15-D24 Forum
If you need a throttle knob for a Dodge, I have one I mistakenly bought for a Plymouth. Very nice condition. It is just the knob and its connected wire, you would have to use your current sheathing. PM if interested. -
Thanks 4ya...that is a beautiful dash.

Thanks so much, can always count on you guys for answers....Greg

Guys: Can someone please help me identify this Borg clock I bought? Was told it was for a 48 Plymouth, and has 48 printed on back, but will not fit my dash. Was so excited to finally buy a clock for my 47 P-15. Anyways thanks for any help you can give me identifying the clock. By the way, if it fits your car and you are interested in buying it, just PM me. Dimensions 4 1/4 tall, by 2 3/8 wide, hands will move with set screws, but not sure if it works electrically. Thanks as always, Greg (needs to get off EBAY) Fernandez

II have had the opportunity talking to George several times in the past and have found out that he is a man that lovesMopars. I take his knowledge with great pride. I have considered doing what he has suggested for me to do to my 218flathead to ease the wind in the engine going 55 or 60 down the road. I have purchased a overdrive transmission from him but have yet to install for my 48 coupe. This man has great knowledge that needs to belearned by all of us. I need him to stay around a lot longer for me. Sounds like someone I need to talk to as I know so little. Do you mind me asking approximately how much one of his OD trans run? -
That's what I thought. Would be nice to have easier access to the MC. Have to do some "bleedin" tomorrow as brakes are not as firm as I'd like. Always appreciate the info...G

Scanning EBAY and found this supposed master cylinder for 40-48 Dodge/Plymouth. Anyone try this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Firewall-Brake-Pedal-Booster-MC-1940-48-Dodge-Plymouth-/380788914749?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58a8c9ba3d&vxp=mtr Greg

Thanks Fargo that is what I thought. Trying to figure out what gears I'm running. Have a brand new flat head and three speed tranny, so gonna live with the whinning. Nothing a little more insulation won't fix. Greg -

Reading a few posts this morning on his OD, and don't quite understand how it works. Is this something that can be bolted on, or is it a whole new transmission? Just had my three speed rebuilt, and wife just commented that car seems to rev high at 55 mph. Thanks Greg
