Born and raised in South Georgia, My wife and brother-in-law inherited the 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe when their Dad passed away. My Brother-in-law is not a tinkerer so he sent the car to us (He lives in South Carolina) a couple of years ago. It's in pretty good condition, my father-in-law had some restoration work done on it before he passed. Still has the original engine and, to my knowledge, it has never been rebuilt. My father-in-law bought the car from his father-in-law who had purchased the car from the original owner. I have held off doing any work or modifications on it because I don't want to put a lot of money into it just to give it back to my brother-in-law if and when he ever wants it back. I don't foresee that happening but you never know. I will post pics.
