I have owned and operate a small woodworking / cabinet shop for the last 21 years. 2008 was by far the slowest year I have ever had. I'm just thankful that its all paid for and I only have one part time helper. DW
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Utah's Dixie. Many thanks to everyone for your help over the years and a special thanks to GTK for this great forum. Dwight Pectol
I'm off on a road trip this morning. I'm going to Hill Air Force Base in Layton Ut. about 360 miles north of here, So if anyone is on Interstate 15 today and sees Ol Blue Bell an me give a honk.. DW
I have made a couple of trips of 600 to 800 miles in the last few years. I drive my car everyday and in the last 4 1/2 years I have log over 33,000 miles. My last trip was from St. George Ut. to Death Valley California about 800 miles round trip.
Love the open road:) DW
James about 6 months ago my 6 volt positive ground alternator started doing the same thing, it turned out to be the internal voltage regulator. I went back to the shop here that build it for me and they put in a new one and it has been fine ever since. DW
P.S. It was about two years old when it went out.
The battery tray arrived in todays mail, looks great, I will be installing it tomorrow.. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.
Thanks A LOT. DW
Today I pulled my battery to see if I could take the battery tray out to clean it up and see if I could repair it. I was able to get the two bolts off that are on the side that hold the tie down bolt in place but I could not find any more bolts that might be holding the tray in place and I couldn't move it. I was wondering if the tray is spot welded to the shelf it sets on or if mine is just so badly corroded in place that it wont move? Thanks DW
