NatesSedan
Went to our first car show with "Roxy" yesterday and got a nice ribbon and plaque. I think the judge wanted us to have one since it was our first show as there were ALOT of nice cars there that didn't get anything. We had a great time and met alot of nice people. There were 300 or so cars. The orange P-15 is the first shots I have gotten of my father in laws P-15 after painting and bodywork. As you can see it is still "under construction" and we haven't found rocker clips yet. The Dodge panel won the Marvelous Mopar award and was really a beautiful car. Dodge panel Heather had these plates made up in Orlando...

NatesSedan
I thought you might like the color Your car made up his mind for him. He was bouncing back and forth between British Racing Green and Orange (both flat) Then he saw your car. We figured we would never be at the same show sooo... Don Coatney
How much concentrate did it take to make the orange car orange:confused: Did you use a refractometer and what was the brix number? At least one of you folks should know what I am talking about.

steveplym
Great pics Nate. Congrats on the win, you have a very nice car. Father-in-law's car looks great too. Love the orange paint, car looks very straight. I do like the "from concentrate" license plate. Pretty funny. Seen a lot of "orange crush" and "sunkist", first time I've seen that license plate on the front of an orange car. Clever.
Normspeed
Both your cars look great. It's nice to see some early Mopars out there at the shows and cruises.
BobT-47P15
Both cars are sharp. Congrats on your win.
NatesSedan
Thanks for the kind words guys. By the way no "brix" were thrown at the paint. It was way too much work to do that! Besides we dont have a refractometer. The paint is "hot Rod Flatz- burnt orange" I was sure jealous when I spent most of the day Friday waxing and polishing and all he did was take some detail spray to it! YukonJack
I like both cars, but I have a 2dr sedan myself so I prefer your sedan. Can you tell me what wheel width and tire size you are using on both cars. I want to change the wheels on my 47 and I'm concerned that my front wheels will stick out further than my rears because of the disc brake conversion. Also like your hood without the chrome. I want to change the wheels on my 47 and I'm concerned that my front wheels will stick out further than my rears because of the disc brake conversion. Also like your hood without the chrome. I am running 225/75/15 in the back and 205/75/15 in the front. I will be switching to discs in the front soon as well and I have some concerns about fit. What kit did you use for the conversion? YukonJack
I used the PlyDo kit a few years ago, 82-87 Camaro calipers and 84-85 Fifth Ave rotors. I'm happy with the results but I think it moved my front wheels out slightly. What size wheels did you use? I currently am using early 80's Cordoba ralley wheels. I think they are 15x7, don't remember, w/215 65 tires.
james curl
I used "Old Daddy's" kit and the only thing that you have to do is shorten the tie rods 3/8" to compensate for the adapters. The width stays very close to being the same.
