Don Coatney Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 its only about 10 minutes from the house. So see Mr. Coatney' date=' the car does leave the driveway. I just don't drive long distances for them when I can do it right at home.[/quote'] Norm; Wow! Ten whole minutes from home. Keep a close eye on your gas gauge and temperature gauge to make sure you dont run out of gas or overheat. Read Rockwoods post on what to do if you overheat as he has all the basics covered. Also check your dipstick before you leave home and when you get there to make sure you have plenty of oil. I have done over 100 miles so far today and I will be leaving in a few minutes for another 40 or so miles. I think you can/should do better than that:cool: Best pack a sandwich in case you get hungry.... Quote
Niel Hoback Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I saw this little turbocharged slant six this morning. The owner said next year it will have twin turbos. Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Wow! Twenty cars at a show in the big sity! Impressive! Glad you had fun. Here in the small Boro we get 2-4 hundred cars every Friday night. Quote
greg g Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Hey Don, take it easy on Norm. We have photographic proof that his car is driveable, left the driveway and the neighborhood, mingled and played well with others, as apparently did Norm. Remember a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. It may have been a baby step but it was a step made. Just think, if we had driven the 600 miles each way there would have been 22 cars there and % wise most would have been p15's. Quote
