1940plymouth Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 Seeing the cut up '49 or '50 Chevy made me decide you show you guys my son's latest project. Hopefully I was able to post the photo Quote
1940plymouth Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 I guess it didn't post, another try Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 that is one fine start on a project that appear to be abandoned..if channeled and weather strip installed plus the deck lid made to fit..would be one very different ride... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 I like it. There have been some old time body men around here (think they are all gone now) that have made cars into El Camino..Ranchero style pickups. I have seen some Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs used. Quote
PatS.... Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Just want more pictures. I thoroughly enjoy all the ones you post of this old time yard!! I second that...love the pics, especially the trunk and junk laden interiors, oh and the tree-cars too:eek: All those old yards around here are gone...replaced by big box warehouses and homes:( No respect for old junk around here. As for parts, the 50 DeSoto parts are available but not for long. Quote
PatS.... Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 one more try Looks good, but I've always thought the Chevy truck cab back with the corner windows would be more fitting. I like how the trunk was retained. Clean. Quote
