Hey all. I'm working on the disc setup. I finally got the '48 on a hoist and it looks like the housing for pivot shaft for the brake and clutch levers is part of the master cylinder. Am I seeing things?? I was going to use a dual master but don't have a bracket to accomadate the shaft. If I stay with the stock cylinder, Do I still use the residual valves and proportioning valve? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Wayne P.

You are correct, the clutch and brake pivot runs through the MC. Some one got around this by getting a street rod mc mount bracket and mounted the new MC to the reat of the old one. then the old MC was gutted and the actuating rod was lengthened to pass through the bottom of the old MC back to the new one. A bit Rube Goldberg but it seems to have worked. Haven't heard of any brake failure collision amongst the group.

ECI makes a setup for our Mopars in 2 versions; one with the clutch pedal, and another without for those converting to automatics.
