Robin (UK) Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Guys, I went to a car show today. Weather was VERY cold and a bit wet, but there were some lovely cars. Coming back, I was two streets from home and I saw a 36 Dodge parked, ready to be put into a garage. Turns out the car had been at the same show. I hadn't seen it and the owner hadn't seen my Plymouth. I didn't even know of the car and it's been in the UK for two years. It Australian, Right Hand Drive. Beautiful. Pic attached of the car, when it was in Australia. I've recommended this Forum, so I hope Simon signs up. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Hi Robin.....a real neat looking car. Does it have two sidemount spares? If so, that would be 3 spares, counting the one on the rear. Quote
Andydodge Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 Robin, if its an Oz build then it should be a TJ Richards body, Holden, who later became General Motors Holden built Plymouth body shells up to 1935 when TJ Richards took over, it should have had a small triangular "Body by Richards" chrome and black enamelled badge with a kangaroo in the centre, located on the passenger side cowl, probably covered by the sidemount, Richards was bought out Chrysler in the late 40's...........neat car, andyd Quote
Robin (UK) Posted March 22, 2008 Author Report Posted March 22, 2008 Yes, the owner told me it has a Richards body. And the car does have three spares - we joked that buying tyres will be expensive!!! Quote
