It would seem our interloper with the interest in "jewel like details" on his die cast scale replica automobiles is with us again.

I believe the best course of action is to ignore his postings, especially if you do not share his unbridled enthusiam for small collectables.

Comments seem to bring out the worst of his interpersonal relationship skills.

His offerings may be of some interest to some members. If so fine and dandy, but why bait his ill favor.

One bad apple doesn't necessarily need to spoil the rest of the barrel if let alone it will rot in peace.

I put him on my ignore list. He can post what he wants, I'll get my info from people who know what's going on with cars you can sit in and drive somewhere. Wayne P.

Best fix may be to lock his post so nobody himself included can post to the thread. Toy model cars may be of interest to some but the responses to his postings are of no use to anyone in my opinion. I have let my thoughts be known to GTK. Until action is implimented I agree that no responses is the best way to handle it. Better to use this thread to vent if you feel the urge.

I would also suggest that all who have responded to his thread delete your responses. This can be done easily by clicking on the edit button that will appear below on the postings you have made and then click on the delete button.

I have to apologize to my fellow forum members for my response to DGUKValley, but I remembered his past posts and lowered my standards with my reply. I generally ignore all the posts about model vehicles, as I have no interest in looking at or owning models of any vehicle.

I posted this comment there before I saw this thread:

One of the MAIN reasons I come to this, the best forum on the 'net is because there are NO posters who are rude and abusive as this one...NONE!!!!

In the 3+ years I've been here THIS is the ONLY poster who has done this and remained to continue.

I have been a REGULAR donor of funds to keep this forum up and running because I believe in supporting a great site.

I come here for the information and the great regular posters and the new posters with some great questions, NOT to see long time posters and regular financial contributors be disrespected in the manner this poster does.

We have managed to disagree many times WITHOUT resorting to personal attacks as this poster does.

I have never had to resort to putting a poster on IGNORE, where this poster has been and will be again.

Again, one of the MAIN reasons I come here...a stress-free friendly respectful place to come, is being threatened by the mere presence of this person who has never discussed a real automobile. If ALL the posts are off-topic, perhaps there might be a more appropriate forum for this poster to sell his products, OR perhaps a less combative attitude.

His continued presence diminishes this site greatly and I am bewildered as to WHY he is still here.

I am formally, respectfully and openly requesting a statement from GTK as to why this poster with this attitude is still abusing the regular posters. many of whom have made regular donations.

I will now, again, place this poster on ignore. Thanks

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I couldn't read his posts as he was/is on ignore but I read the quotes. I don't have a problem with the toy cars, what gets me is the abuse dished out to regular posters without consequence.

If GTK thinks it's important that these items be addressed, perhaps a forum dedicated to them would be appropriate.

I just think his abuse MUST stop either way.

I also completely understand if Gerald doesn't want to deal with this kind of unpleasant situation. There are a few regulars who I'm sure be happy to serve as moderators to take that burden off his shoulders if he wishes. Just have to ask.

I think I will now take the advice in my sig below...pee on it and walk away.

I bow to the greater wisdom here; I just went back and deleted my reply to this bozo.

Marty;

You did not delete everything. This can be done easily by clicking on the edit button that will appear below on the postings you have made and then click on the delete button.

I know; what I did just happened to suit me better!

PS Decided that I was being childish, so went back and completely deleted it. Interesting that there is no evidence of a deleted post, as all of the subsequent postings get renumbered.

I agree with Don, I deleted my posts as well, and also used to IGNORE button, Thanks for keeping me on the Straight and Narrow--

Now, if we can get one more guy deleted over here to the dark side, that thread will be short.

Who me?? Sorry guys I was out doing other things all day today so I don't get cabin fever.:D Just got home about an hour ago. Just for you guys I'll go back to that thread and delete my post to. There is one other person in the thread though besides me.

I was having fun pulling the guys chain to see what kind of dumb remark he'd make.:D Guess he couldn't come up with a comeback for my last remark to him.:)
