Interesting info. I was beginning to have second thoughts about running Rotella T 10w40 in my fresh motor, but this sounds like I made a good choice.

Normspeed I use the ewxact oil, Shell Rotella T 15 W 40, was thinking of going to Castrol 20 W 50 or Wallyworld Straight 40. My engine has miles and is not rebuilt.............Fred

When I first started my engine with a reground cam shaft I was not aware of the two grand twenty minute rule. I varied RPM's from idle to high speed several times in the first hour of runtime. I have not seen any problems to date. I am running the zinc enriched Shell oil currently. Last changed my oil about three thousand miles ago.
