There are photo editing software programs that will "Resize" your photos. It will basically compress the file into a smaller package.

In the future, you should set your camera to smaller file sizes. Then you don't need to resize them later.

You can just post the link to your pic if its on a server. Usually the server will have a resize fucntion also.

320 X 240 is most common. If you use Imagesahck it has a resize function right on the upload page.

The way I do it is this. I'm using Windows XP. I find my photo that I want to post on this site. So, *.jpg files can be no more than 122 kb which isn't too bad of a size for a computer image. I use my mouse, right click the picture, choose the "email picture..." option, click "show more options" and then choose "small" "medium" or "large" on the pick list. I generally start out with "large". I then send the photo to myself and check to see how big it has been automatically resized to by Windows XP. Usually its under 122 kb. But, if its still too large I repeat the process and pick "Medium" and that almost always works just fine. I then save the file with a new name (I use a "Temp" subdirectory) and then upload it to the P15-D24 site (choosing this "new" name from the temp subdirectory) using the "manage attachments" choice just below the text box I'm typing in right now on this P15-D24 site. That generally does it and you can avoid having to post the photo on photobucket or any other site first, resizing it there and then bringing it back into this site.

That's one way that works....there are many more. You can also resize your photos using something like Microsoft PictureIt or some of the other photo editing software as well. But the easiest one I've found....is the first one described using good ole XP itself.
