Don Coatney Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 I believe this is a Henry-T. Quote
Normspeed Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Neat photo. I like the canteens. Reminds me of my teardrop. When I hit the desert I have 4 vintage canteens filled with extra radiator water, just in case. Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Judging by wheels, fenders, steering wheel and windshield frame it looks like a brass-era model-T, 1913 or earlier. Very nice photograph, it really catches "the spririt of motoring". Quote
PatS.... Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 I thought this was the same kind of car, but comparing the two, they are quite different. It's in my collection but I don't know who the people are...nothing written on it...a shame really. Quote
Brendan D25 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Don,I believe it's an early 20s GriffithPaulCar. I went to properties on the pic and noticed the names Forny Clark genealogy. My mig welder is a Forny (it's red) and a friend of mine has a Clark (it's blue) and they are identical welders other than name and colour. Brendan. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 My Forney welder, stick, is from the 40's and has been in the family all that time. Multi-tap with hi/lo ground does a heck of a job even today...stillhave the original weld helmet that came with it..!! Quote

Below is the web address.http://forneyclarkgenealogy.com/index.html Don, found that website very interesting. Going to have to go back there when I have more time. My father's mothers maiden name was Clark. Her family was stretched all over Kentucky, Ohio and southern Indiana. It may be a very small world. Quote
