The round pivot that comes up from underneath the cowl, in which the wiper arm is pushed onto on my P15, is stripped. The grooves no longer hold the arm on and it flies off when I turn the wipers on. Does anyone have any spares they could sell or part with? If not, where can I get one? I think the round piece with the grooves comes off, so I would probably just need that.

Also, the new wiper arms I got from the Early Ford guy just don't seem to have enough tension in the arms to make the wipers wipe the water off evenly. These don't have the regular springs in them. Instead, the tension is set up kind of how a leaf spring is...if that makes sense. Anyone have any ideas how to put more tension on those?

Darin I looked and could't find a part like you are describing. Anyone got a pic to give me a better idea? I'm pretty sure I still have the entire wiper system from my parts car but nothing fit my idea of what he's looking for.

Ed, these aren't from the Plymouth, but they would look close to these.

Wow...I wouldn't know what years would be interchangeable. You don't have any idea what cars they came off of?
