Reg Evans Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 We almost had a white Christmas. Missed it by 3 days. Quote
anthonyb Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 You know Reg, if you would clean that lens once in a while, you could get a clear picture of the sand around your house. This is the Saturday before Easter this year. By Easter morning there was 4 1/2" on the ground. Gotta love this Texas weather! Quote
Merle Coggins Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 You guys don't know snow. I just cleared out close to a foot of snow out of my driveway, and my girlfriend's driveway, this morning. It snowed almost all day yesterday. It was all melting away pretty fast just before Christmas, but it's all nice and white again today. Merle Quote
Guest Sams1950B2D Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 I've got your snow right here... Granted Reg, this is a little higher elevation than you are, but it's still pretty impressive... too bad last year wasn't this good. Sonora Pass Spring '06 - about 9000' elev. Quote
Reg Evans Posted December 31, 2007 Author Report Posted December 31, 2007 Man !!! That's a lot of the white stuff. I can see that mountain from my place which is only at the 2200' elevation. Here's a photo of the first day of spring here in 2006. This global warming has gotta stop. And then another photo of a Big Bird that came to visit my yard right around Thanksgiving. Guess who came to dinner;) Quote
55 Fargo Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 We don't even get anywhere near that kind of snow here in my part of Canada, being the Winnipeg Manitoba area. Quote
