Has anyone been able to get some positive caster, i.e. 4-5 degrees? I read a post on the site from a few years ago that you can get a little by turning the  eccentric bushing, pic below, but this can also change camber. I also came across this video where the guy loosens the upper arm outer bushings / seals and then is able to rotate the bar once removed from the crossmember to achieve positive caster.
Is there a correct way to achieve positive caster if it's even possible?

My roller project came with a new 6.1 Hemi and want to make sure the D42 will track straight with that power. Maybe lower it a bit from the front springs and shocks?
thanks

Problems are as follows.

There is no ball joint in the suspension, so too much caster will cause wear.

There are no rubber bushings in the system, so no give so to speak, which aggravates the first point.

More caster makes the steering wheel harder to turn.

That all said, I did get some positive caster when I realigned my system, I forget how much and I dunno where my notes are.

How I did it was by re adjusting the upper outer pivot. so that it was biased towards the rear of the car.

Thanks for the info Sniper. The man who started the build has it set op with a power steering rack and the 6.1 hemi will handle that. I'm trying not rework the front end, i.e. mustang 2 style if at all possible. It will all come apart to clean and paint after the first of the year so I want to do whatever is needed to have it handle well and drive safely with the hemi- If you come across your notes or any pics, please post them. thx

OK, thx Junkers72.

I spoke to one of the better mustang 2 style kit builders today and they said only .5 to 1 + of caster. That the 4-5 degree range was if I was racing -
