I used a Wix 51080 cartridge for my last oil change, maybe you can reference that for a German or European equivalent.  Also, it was not listed at the car parts store as an automobile filter, it is listed for industrial applications.  There are a few threads discussing oil filters on the Forum, too, if you care to search.

If you have the drop in filter element I use a wixx 51010 filter and have been using this in my AC canister for 30+ years or a NAPA 1010 gold.  These are the same filters. Wixx produces filter for NAPA.

Thank you Gentlemen ‚

Both are available at local parts store.

The 51010 looks identical to the filter it’s in the dodge.

This was a great help!

I got the WIX 1010 Filters today but they are smaller in height than the old one. Had to put on shim rings on the  riser pipe so the spring in cover made enough force to hold the filter down.

I am wondering will they work too?

I don’t really understand the oil flow.

Are there holes in the riser pipe so the oil goes thru? Couldn’t find holes.…

Thank you

Joe
