harmony
I thought some of you would enjoy this documentary that's a little more than an hour long, on the Turbine Car. Pretty heart warming when a few of the original builders get back together to help rebuild the engine in Jay Leno's car. I browsed the archives here and found a 2007 posting when Young Ed talks about someone in his Plymouth club that was a family member of one of the 203 families selected to drive one of the cars for 3 months. I'm wondering if anyone has any stories about the car or knows family member that got to drive one of these unique cars?

Check the off topic area where I just took a trip to Michigan and saw one in person at the gilmore museum

Not really a friend but I did meet him a few times. I believe he's moved out of MN now. He talks all about his families experiences in that video

For sure. He spoke just as passionately when he was speaking at our meeting.
