Frank Gooz Posted February 5, 2023 Report Posted February 5, 2023 Good afternoon, is there anyone that might be able to take a side by side picture of a 8 cylinder, And 25 inch and a 23 inch distributor. thank you Frank Quote
desoto1939 Posted February 6, 2023 Report Posted February 6, 2023 what are you trying to figure out about the difference between the two dizzy's? The 8 cylinder will had the cam with eight points and the six cam will have 6 points or high spots to make contact with the points to open and close. The correct points and correct breaker plate is what is important along with the appropriate cap and rotor. Rich Hartung Quote

The principals of the proper cap and rotor and condersors and points are the same. So what are you looking for just becasue it is an 8 cylinder car vs a 6 cylinder car? Just means that you now have to have the parts to support a 6 cylinder and an 8 cylinder car. Rich Hartung Quote
