I noticed something about this truck that I have seen only once before on a 48 pickup I owned in the early 90's.

The rear fenders seem to be a shorter than usual at the rear and don't hang down below the bed sides. Anyone else ever seen this?

Yes....had a Tech come out last Friday. He remove a Trojan that had locked me out of my control panel. He was here for 1.5 hours and only charged me $65. I was so glad to have my computer working correctly again I gave him $100 and said keep the change.

Apparently I had clicked on a fake windows update er something.

My 48's rear fenders stop at the bedsides also. Any ideas as to why the different lengths? Just wondering.

Possibly to accommodate a box hoist? Wouldn't a longer fender interfere with raising the box?

My rear fenders stop at the box too. Maybe without the big wrap around bumpers you usally see (welded to the rear fenders) you don't notice the length difference? The Kansas Truck has been on ebay before, I remember it. The pictures were in a wooded area and the truck had been in the family for a long time. I think they were asking 10,000 at the time and ened up selling around 5,000. I remember because I was interested in it, but unable to deal cuz Kansas is to far.
