Mendey Posted October 11, 2022 Report Posted October 11, 2022 I am new to the site and to Dodge. Restoring a 1954 dodge C1 B6 truck. Have the caps and the tires 225 70 R15. Where to find wheels. I believe these caps would be the ones that take clips?? just not sure how to figure it all out and come up with a set of wheels. I'm thinking 15x6" 4.5 bolt circle. Figuring out what I need for caps I get lost? can anyone help me out and point me in a direction? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 11, 2022 Report Posted October 11, 2022 to run the center cap you will need the wheels with the hubcap clips....some here list optional other car brand clips you can retrofit to a modern wheel and use these caps...just be sure the cap will insert into the proposed wheel you wish before ordering clips or buying the wheels. I would think besides just the offset of the modern/optional wheel choice you will have to consider the cap fitting the center and the depth of the center for the retention clip to mount and fully lock the cap in place thus verify. Else, you will need to source a set of factory wheels of the size you wish. Biggest single headache involving replacement wheels and original caps. Quote
