I have it in our yard. Hard to keep Bahai or Centipede grass growing with it around. Crowds everything out or is toxic to other plants.

looks so much like what I have....with one exception, mine is not as tall, however, the manner I keep my yard cut year round for growth and height keeps this plant very much compacted within the associated other grasses and obnoxious varieties.   I last week bought and assemble a 31 gallon tag along sprayer.  While 98% of the time my weed eradication is hand pulleing by the roots, thanks Fiskars, I am now down to this target weed as I try to tame my lawn and sanity.  I cannot pull this when the dirt is dry as most of the areas this thrives in compacted dirt and low cut lawn height so as I am while trying to shape and groom I am giving this weed an edge to choke the good stuff.   I sprayed three target areas last Thursday and will evaluate the total effect in another day or so.  One area I did spray, while waiting for my son to drop off an engine, I did notice this plant if I was to reach down and tug on it would release from the ground very easily so maybe the roots are destroyed.  If this is the case, I can easily rake this away maybe and come fall spray as a preemergent against next years growth from seeds as my annual grass growth may get thicker now.

We have a lot of springs around the house. Because of that I haven't used weed killer since I've been here. Was pulling some sections up by hand but got doing so much other stuff kinda let it go.

I am with you on that.....this year is the first time I have sprayed since I bought this place some 26 years ago.  The weeds I was pretty much up on till the invasion of the back yard of another weed I cannot identify and then this stuff and the fact that none of the neighbors even try to control anything on their property and net the fall out from their neglect.  Pulling the weeds this year I have done well on all but this variety and the stuff in the back yard.   Probably just wasting my time and my money...but this stuff is nasty.

Looks kind of like what we have in Florida.

They call it Brazilian snow. Very invasive.

If it's that, it's awful hard to get rid of.
