I am reinstalling the front fenders on my B3C.  The rubber fender filler was missing on my truck when I took it apart.  A while back there was a post with pictures of how some of you installed the rubber filler on your trucks including the length, securing it, etc.  I have guessed any search words I can think of, but no luck yet.  Can anyone help point me to that thread or otherwise help?

This is exactly what I had seen months ago.  Could not find it now that I need it.  I seem to have a hard time searching for old posts that I know are there.  Contributing for so long, I guess you just know where to look.  Thanks once again for your help!

?  In this case, I remember taking pictures of this area and looked through My Attachments to find the thread where I had posted them.  I probably would not have found them using the search function since I didn't identify them other then calling them "rubber".  The detail stuff gets tricky to locate online if'n the same terminology isn't used by all parties concerned...but it's fun to look around, I've found all kinds of stuff that got me motivated to do side projects like finding shock absorber part numbers and replacing glovebox springs

Bear in mind that you'd want to fasten the rubber with more than adhesive (I used pop rivets with a larger head since I could not set split rivets with out a power tool) and that the rubber should go up to the last rivet hole (fully cover the interface between the fender and cowl).  Roberts has the "most" correct version of the filler out there.

Direct copy of FEF's original filler.

maybe different factories did it different or it differed over time....but I'd use all the holes.
