Eclector
Trying to right some wrongs from previous owners. On a stock B4B, is there supposed to be a rubber fuel hose section between the hard line coming from the tank and the fuel pump? Also, is there supposed to be a fuel filter attached to the carb input port? I'm trying to find drawings or photos to no avail. Can someone post a photo? Merle Coggins
Yes. You need a flexible hose between the hard fuel line and anything attached to the engine, as the engine moves slightly on it's rubber mounts. And Yes, there is typically a filter at the carb intake. It was originally a Carter filter with a glass bowl and a sintered bronze filter element inside.
