tad of phosphoric in a number of items a person may consume...dark soda (not root beer) has this and it is really hard on the body's joints....most other soda's are citrus based for that bite...!

 

I'll stick with phosphoric on rust.....keep the sugars off the car...same as with molasses...while it can give a faux parkerized finish on bolts...I don't need parkerized on large panels..

I found a replacement valve from a friend who had a spare 47 flathead.  Problem solved as we now have 40 psi.
