It’s just to keep the clutch fork off the throw out bearing. That won’t fix your problem but I thought I’d mention it. The fluid drives had a different carb with electric’s added and a dash pot to slow deceleration. I googled fluid drive carburetors and a thread from this forum in 2016 came up. It seems a BXVD-3 would be the correct carb. Thanks, I do not have the electronic solenoids as mine is just a Standard three speed. How would I go about adjusting what I adjust the nut in how would I adjust the nut against the Fork out? Quote

The books are well written and will guide you easily along the course of repairs and upkeep. The book also has a lot of safety warnings to protect you, component or car from damage/injury are invaluable in the course of performing maintenance tasks. Quote
Noah H Posted July 22, 2020 Author Report Posted July 22, 2020 Fluid drive is full of fluid, i am getting a steady squirt of fuel from acc. pump. Did the fuel pump test and only got 4oz per 12 strokes and gas is just “running” put pressure isn’t that but that might because of the slow cranking? Quote
