Wimbledon37 Posted June 10, 2020 Report Posted June 10, 2020 I have been looking for sway bar links for my 1937 Chrysler Wimbledon (P4) for the last couple of years. Apparently not available anymore. does anyone know of an alternative or modification that retains the original sway bar? Quote
Sharps40 Posted June 11, 2020 Report Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) I'll post this link maybe it'll be the correct part. If not, someone will be along shortly to scream that its not. Ad indicates they ship overseas. Looks like these are repainted but listed as New Old Stock parts. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Mopar-1937-Chrysler-Desoto-Sway-Link-Eliminator-Set-/193128963154 Edited June 11, 2020 by Sharps40 Quote
Wimbledon37 Posted June 11, 2020 Author Report Posted June 11, 2020 Thanks for your prompt response. my parts catalogue does not give numbers for the links, only for complete assemblies. I'll raise a query with the Vendor Thanks again Quote
Sharps40 Posted June 11, 2020 Report Posted June 11, 2020 Hope it's the right one for you. Post a photo of your ride. I'm fond of the 1937 models. Quote
Sniper Posted June 11, 2020 Report Posted June 11, 2020 Those look like the links my 38 had, but it'd been years since I had the 38 and I don't know if the 37's are the same. Quote
Wimbledon37 Posted June 11, 2020 Author Report Posted June 11, 2020 Contacted Ebay seller - apparently they will not fit a P4 Quote
Mike Rimu Posted June 17, 2020 Report Posted June 17, 2020 Try www.oldmoparts.com it looks like they have them for your 37 under the R section or springs. They are really helpfully so call them to find out if they are the right ones. Cheers Mike 1 Quote
Wimbledon37 Posted June 19, 2020 Author Report Posted June 19, 2020 Thanks for link. i have already tried them. i think the Plymouth links are different from the 8 cylinder models from Chrysler Quote
