n1gzd_plymouth
Are these MoparPro replacement fuel tanks ok (drop in works, no fitment or quality issues)? http://www.moparpro.com/new-reproduction-fuel-tanks/ I am thinking of getting one for my 39 coupe rather than clean up the original one (which has bad gas in it). thanks, Rebecca
Bbdakota
I used there tank on my 48 D24. No problems at all. I'm happy with it. Personally, if a new tank is available, my opinion is to put in a new tank. The protective coating (zinc, galvanized) has surely been compromised on an old tank. My old tank was coated by previous owner with some aftermarket product but still continued to rust and was very nasty when I replaced it.
Mark D
Bought several from Mike for cars I've exported, they are good quality and nearly exact copies of the original.

I had an experience with a Buick where the tank looked good but the filler neck part was not identical and had to do a hack. I hope that this one is identical so that it is just a swap.
